StitchStop

HELP

Common questions.

What does StitchStop cost?
$9.99 a month after a 30-day free trial. We don't bill you anything during the trial — you can cancel any time and never pay. Shops are free; they don't pay to be on the map.
Is StitchStop a booking platform?
No. StitchStop is a map and a directory. When you find a class you want to take, you book directly with the shop — through their website, by phone, or in person. We don't take a cut of what they sell.
How do shops get on the map?
Two ways. We add shops we can independently verify (via the shop's website + a second source). Or shops can email us at hello@stitchstop.org and we'll add them within 24 hours.
I run a shop. How do I claim my listing?
Find your shop on the map, click 'Is this your shop? Claim it,' and tell us how to verify you're the owner. We approve claims within a couple of days. Once approved, you can edit your listing, post classes, and manage your followers.
Will I get a flood of marketing emails?
No. Members get a welcome email when they subscribe and that's it — no drip sequences, no upsells. Shops get one introduction email when we add them to the map; after that, the only contact is the monthly newsletter, which only goes to shops that have claimed their listing.
How do I cancel?
Open /profile and click 'Manage membership.' You'll land in Stripe's customer portal where you can cancel with one click. Your access stays active until the end of your current billing period.
I see a shop that has closed or moved. What do I do?
Email hello@stitchstop.org and we'll fix the listing the same day.

STILL STUCK?

Email hello@stitchstop.org and a real person will get back to you within a day.
